Hellerwork Structrual Integration
I listen to your unique "body-story" with care, honor your pain, help you orient to your body's adaptability, and support you in finding ways to bring back joyful movement into your life.

Deep Connective Tissue Bodywork
Hellerwork works by releasing tension and restrictions in the connective tissues of the body including the fascia, muscles, and ligaments. I integrate a variety of techniques to help the body's various tissues become more adaptive and resilient. In the sessions the bodywork is often performed regionally rather than on the entire body. The work is organized to develop better alignment, improve balance, and support the whole body.
Movement Education
The movement education works by helping the clients become more aware of their body and their movement habits. I help guide you to pay attention to your posture, your breath, and your everyday activities. In addition to this I offer exercise that help you explore movement in new ways, self-care practices to help areas of unease, and practical tools to help you integrate to a "movement lifestyle."

Somatic Dialogue
This is a key component of Hellerwork and it involves a verbal exchange between myself and the client. I use speific questions and cues to guide the client's attention to their body and internal experience, with the goal of increasing self awareness at all levels - physical, mental, emotional, and relational. This dialogue helps facilitate a deeper body-mind connection and can shift physical, emotional, and movement patterns.
Integrating Additional Bodywork, Movement, and Somatic Practices
Since becoming a Certified Hellerwork Practitioner I've immersed myself in continuing education in the fields of bodywork, movement education, and somatic dialogue. I'm a passionate learner and weave together my many interests and integrate them as part of my sessions with clients.
